Tamara Burriss

Tamara Burriss is our psychology assistant. She loves working with children and their families to create an environment where children thrive. Tamara is also a registered teacher. 

With her teaching background, Tamara easily engages schools implementing Positive Behaviour Support plans. She also upskills teachers on using strategies in the classroom. Tamara is experienced in modifying the school curriculum, making sure it includes and supports children's interests.

Tamara is big on looking at the wider picture of a child's life and upskilling everyone who supports the child or teen.

Tamara’s superpower is her ability to connect with children at their level. With her intuitive approach, she adapts how she works with kids and teens. This approach helps her build strong bonds with the young people and families she works with.
