Simon Robbrown is our Provisional Psychologist, who has a passion for working with children and young people, and those living with disabilities. Simon has a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Simon brings a wealth of experience from the community sector, having worked as an after school care assistant, an applied behaviour therapist, a disability support worker, a youth worker, a transition case manager, and a coordinator of youth workers. He has also volunteered as a mentor for young people at risk of disengaging from education.

As a psychologist, Simon particularly enjoys helping young people navigate the complexity of their situations. He believes that everyone deserves to be heard and enjoys seeing the young people he works with find their voice and achieve their life potential.

In the therapy room, Simon has a warm and open approach that makes his clients feel comfortable and heard. He is talkative, fun, and engaging, but also mindful of giving his clients enough space and time to express themselves. Simon’s therapy superpower is helping families increase their awareness about the factors contributing to a problem, so they can have more empathy and connection with each other, and act in a way that is more consistent with their values.
